San Jose Del Cabo

We are tied up in a marina in San Jose Del Cabo on our way to La Paz. It is quiet here and far more laid back than Cabo San Lucas, despite being considered the other half of “Los Cabos.” There are no jetskis, water taxis, or parasailers here. We have finally had a chance to slow down. Up to this point the boat has not felt safe or settled (outside in the coast, including Cabo San Lucas there really is no protection from weather). Last night I slept like a rock. We leave tomorrow for the next stop in our way to La Paz. It is called Bahia Los Frailes and is next to the only coral reef in the Sea of Cortez. Hope you are all well, we are doing great,

Elan

  1. Sounds awsome! How’s Apolo adjusting to his new life? Looks like the boatss holding up well.

Finaly got you MC rewired, cleaned up and running well(your intergrater was fried)…should be able to sell it in the next few weeks.

    • It’s pretty awesome. San Jose is a cool town. Thanks for all of the help with the bike. It’ll be great to have that out of My mind. You gotta start thinking about a trip South. It’s getting better and better out here.

      • Sold the bandit!!

This Saturday…I can email you the details and you can email me the account to transfer $$$.

Hope all is well, we had our first nice boat day in seattle, looking forward to more trips and heading South to see you and Ash!

  2. Hi Bub,
What a beautiful place to swim! I saw a picture with a pool on the beach. Will you still be around there the first week in April? That is my spring break and I am sort of thinking…….. Love you so much. Swim some miles for me, it looks like heavenly swimming.

  3. Love you guys! I love reading your updates and think you are on the trip of a lifetime. I long to be out there with you instead of here in rainy/snowy Washington. We got inches of snow 2 days ago!

I am comforted to hear that you are well and am always eager to read about your adventure. Missing you and happy that you are getting close to La Paz.

    OXOXOX

  4. I vacayed down there for a week and split time between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. If I ever went back it would be the full week in San Jose! The good snorkel spots are in between, though. I just liked the mellower scene there and more authentic culture, but still some English speakers.
